At the 2017 MDF Annual Conference, the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation (MDF) will offer MDF community members the opportunity to learn first-hand about U.S. federal and state benefits that can be used to support individuals affected by myotonic dystrophy. During the session “Accessing State and Federal Resources: Expert Workshop,” attendees will engage with expert government leaders from the U.S. Social Security Administration, non-profit groups working with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and other assistance organizations.
The interactive session “Accessing State and Federal Resources: Expert Workshop” takes place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on September 8, 2017, in the Hyatt Regency San Francisco hotel in San Francisco. Program speakers include Stephen Dale, attorney and counselor at Law of the Dale Law Firm, PC; and Daniel Fortuno, president and chief executive officer of the Benefits Education Center.
