In January of 2021, MDF officially embarked upon on a six-month strategic planning process estimated to run through June 30, 2021.
Through this process MDF seeks to identify new community needs, build upon our successes and strengths, gain deeper engagement with our partners, and define key priorities and outcomes to ensure future success. MDF hopes to identify new opportunities to support families living with myotonic dystrophy as well as to improve the clinical landscape for improved care and a cure. We want you to weigh in and help us shape the future of MDF, so stay tuned for survey and focus group opportunities!
April 2021 Update
Thank you to everyone who has participated in interviews, focus groups, and surveys during our strategic planning data collection and learning phase. MDF and Third Plateau, the strategy firm helping guide our strategic planning process, are now beginning to analyze feedback and data from over 800 members of the DM ecosystem! Over the next several months MDF’s Strategic Planning Steering Committee and Board of Directors will work together to interpret the results, identify community-driven priorities, and develop goals and objectives that will serve to guide MDF’s work toward Care and Cure over the next few years. We will continue to share our progress through the next phase of the project.
