Join support group facilitators Pat Gibson and John Cooley for a Virtual Meeting of the Kansas City, MO Support Group on Sunday, May 3rd! All people affected by myotonic dystrophy, their families and caregivers in the Kansas City area are invited. Guest Speaker: Susan Whitacre, RD, LD. Susan is a licensed dietitian at the University of Kansas and works in the MD clinic. Susan will address areas that impact DM patients such as: swallowing; good and bad foods; how the digestive system may be impacted by DM; dieting for DM patients and others. Susan will also take questions from the attendees.
