MDF has secured a 2nd discounted room rate at the nearby Dana Hotel with rooms as low as $229 a night as of August 12th! The Dana may be able to provide a free shuttle to the conference property. Please let us know if you book a room at the Dana so we are aware of your accommodation. To book a room at the Dana, please call 800-445-3339 and mention “Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation” to receive the discounted rate. Transportation

2022 MDF Annual Conference attendees will fly into San Diego International Airport (SAN). Visitors seeking shuttle service and transportation to Paradise Point have a variety of options, including taxi service, shuttles, and ride-sharing apps. Taxi

Taxis take about 15-20 minutes to get to Paradise Point and can cost between $20-30 from the airport. Cab companies and their phone numbers can be found on the Paradise Point website.

Ride-sharing Apps

The cost for a private ride from San Diego International Airport to Paradise Pointusing ride-sharing apps such as Uber or Lyft can range from $15.00 to $30.00. Your Uber/Lyft will meet you curbside across the street from baggage claim near the Transportation Plaza. Directions from Airport to Hotel

If you decide to rent a car, the directions to the hotel are as follows: Take North Harbor Drive to Laurel Street and follow signs to Interstate 5 North. Continue on Interstate 5 North and exit onto Interstate 8 West. Continue on Interstate 8 West and exit Sports Arena/West Mission Bay Drive. Turn right at the traffic light – Ingraham Street. Continue on Ingraham Street to the second traffic light – West Vacation Road. Turn left into the hotel main entrance. Discounted Scooter & Wheelchair Rental

Harmony Home Medical Supply is offering MDF Annual Conference attendees 15% off rental and a discounted delivery fee of $55 (down from $75 regular price) to Paradise Point. Interested attendees just have to call Harmony Home Medical at (858)560-8177, state that they are with the MDF Conference, and the sales staff will apply the discount to the order. Free childcare will be offered at the 2022 MDF Annual Conference! We are pleased to announce MDF has enlisted Playtime Pros to provide dedicated childcare Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM each day. Space is limited and Conference registration is required.
