These support groups welcome anyone living with DM1, DM2 and their caregivers to join. Regional Support Groups are facilitated by Support Group Facilitators who live in a specific geographic region and may benefit people looking for support around state specific challenges or meetings in specific time zones. However, due to their virtual nature, you can join any that meet your needs and your schedule.

• Atlanta Regional Support Group-This group meets once a month and is facilitated by Chuck Hunt.
• Carolinas Regional Support Group- This group meets once a month and is facilitated by Mindy Kim.
• Ohio State Support Group - This group meets every other month and is facilitated by Carolyn Valek and Nathan Beucler.
• Chicago Regional Support Group - This group meets quarterly and is facilitated by Rob Besecker and Ryan Vogels.
• Finger Lakes and Upstate New York Regional Support Group - Facilitated by Emily Jones and Lois Schenk.
• Florida Regional Support Group - This group meets once a month and is facilitated by Kristen McClinktock and Beth Feigenblatt.
• Maryland Regional Support Group - This is a new support group and will begin having meetings in 2025. Facilitated by Caroline Easterling.
• Massachusetts Regional Support Group - This group meets once a month and is facilitated by Jeannine DeSoi and Bill Nuttall.
• Mountain West Regional Support Group - This group meets every other month and is facilitated by Kathie Thorsland.
• New York City/New Jersey Regional Support Group - This group meets once a month and is facilitated by Glenda Wilson, Janis Jaffe and Guillermo Zubillaga.
• Southern California Regional Support Group - This group meets once a month and is facilitated by Rose Albanese and Barbara Ochoa.
• Virginia Regional Support Group - This group meets once a month and is facilitated by Samantha Welsh and Jodie Howell.
• Washington State Regional Support Group - This group meets quarterly and is facilitated by Cindy Hubert and Jonathan Freedman.
